Content Marketer

Epistemix is looking for a content marketer to join our go-to-market team to do something never done before - make agent-based simulation, synthetic populations, digital twins of populations, and simulation intelligence known to the commercial market. In this role, your work will help the field become as common as machine learning and through the adoption of our technology improve decisions that could affect millions of people around the world.

Epistemix helps customers increase the ROI of decisions by simulating the impact of strategies and interventions using synthetic populations. We deliver an integrated platform for creating, running, and analyzing the behavior of agent-based simulation models (ABMs) built on top of our synthetic population.

Our clients use these models to understand how decisions and actions of individual people lead to large scale, population-level outcomes. Our in-house professional services team works with clients to develop models in healthcare, insurance, marketing analytics, product demand planning, and government.

Epistemix’s mission is to pioneer the use of synthetic populations and simulation across industry, government, and academia to improve decision making for the benefit of all. Since its founding, Epistemix has been refining its technology and developing its client-base.

Responsibilities

  • Create, write, and edit on a wide variety of topics for podcasts, e-books, websites, blogs, social media, case studies, whitepapers, banners, infographics, slide decks, sales collators, etc. 
  • Research and organize sources and information by working with our in-house subject matter experts and advisor groups. 
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with the team for new strategies and ideas. 
  • Write well-researched and keyword-driven content to boost organic traffic. 
  • Create optimized, engaging title tags and meta descriptions to increase the click-through rate. 
  • Create clear and innovative headlines and body copy. 
  • Produce high-quality blog posts on industry-relevant topics and address user queries in detail. 
  • Create, execute, and maintain a startup wide content calendar. 
  • Ensure consistency in writing style, fonts, images, and tone. 
  • Collaborate with internal designers and developers to align written content with the brand. 
  • Edit and proofread content produced by other team members. 
  • Publish content to appropriate channels and review content performance to iterate on strategy.
  • Conduct SEO Research to prioritize and structure content.

  • Content creation/editing
    • Manage Podcast (2/month) with our advisors/existing customers/prospective customers by scheduling recordings, managing our editor, and publishing
    • 2 co-authored blogs/month (based on the podcasts)
    • 2 blogs/month on thought leadership
    • 1 whitepaper/month
    • 1 case study/month
  • SEO (and possible PPC testing and feedback into Content)
    • # keywords ranking
  • Advisor Activation
    • # referrals / month from our advisor network of more than 80 motivated referrers - referrals will be driven from interactions with the network through coauthoring blogs, podcasts, and other content focused engagements.

Requirements

Successful candidates will have:

    • Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
    • Bachelor’s degree.  
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content writing and editing. 
    • Familiarity with content management systems, such as WordPress. 
    • Solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques. 
    • A strong portfolio showcasing published articles and writing styles. 
    • Self-starter attitude with a desire to drive the process independently.
    • Excellent English writing and editing skills. 
    • Outstanding multi-tasking and communication skills. 
    • Empathy for users and decision makers using the synthetic population in their work and being able to translate the complexity into understandable information by our users and customers.
    • Have a startup mentality with understanding the risks and the ability to flex across needs of an evolving team in a fast-paced environment.
